Allstars Training Center is to open a new training facility of over 1900 sqm in the center of Torrevieja. Gymleco has been chosen as the supplier of the gym and the facility will act as a showroom for Gymleco’s training equipment in Spain.
Allstars have a training center in central Stockholm that they started in 2011 and are now expanding their operations by opening a training facility in Spain. The facility will have a gym of over 300 square meters, crossfit area both outside and inside and a whole floor for MMA. In addition to being open to new members, the training center will serve as a landing point for professional MMA athletes, where they can train and sleep before matches.
Behind the project are, among others, Khamzat Chimaev, Alexander Gustafsson, Christ Ishoo, Majdi Shammas, Andreas Michael and Reza Madadi.
Majdi, CEO for Allstars, talks about the venture:
“Today, many people travel to the other side of the world to get sun, swim and exercise. We wanted to open somewhere central in Europe, with pleasant weather and many sunny days, so that more people have the opportunity to come and train. Torrevieja is a common destination among Europeans, so the location is good both geographically and strategically. Then we believe and hope that we can help build something good for the city and for the visitors.
When it comes to the gym equipment, we tested equipment from several different companies but chose Gymleco. They have great products that are durable, stylish, space efficient and require no service. Apart from that, we received very good treatment. Instead of meeting an employee of a large group, we got to meet directly with Monica and Linda Sotkasiira, CEO and Marketing Manager, and it became a family feeling. We believe in this collaboration. “
At the beginning of autumn, Gymleco opened a sales office in Marbella to meet the increased demand from Southern Europe. Linda Sotkasiira, who is stationed in Spain, talks about how the collaboration with Allstars came about:
“I heard about the project from a mutual acquaintance and therefore contacted Reza to see if Gymleco’s gym equipment would fit with their vision and concept. It turned out to be a perfect match and we are very happy about the collaboration. As it will be both crossfit, gym and MMA, we believe that it will be a hub for training and health in Torrevieja and a fantastic place to be able to show our training equipment in Spain.”
The training center is expected to be built and ready in Q1 2022. Stay tuned to Gymleco’s and Allstar’s channels to follow developments.
